As a Marathon County department, the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin has a long history of providing quality services to disabled and older adults throughout Marathon County. Formerly the Marathon County Commission on Aging, in 2000, the department became one of the first Aging and Disability Resource Centers in the state. In 2007, the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Marathon County joined the Wood County Commission on Aging to form the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin (ADRC-CW), serving both Marathon and Wood counties. In 2011, the ADRC-CW expanded services to Langlade and Lincoln counties in order to provide consistent services to disabled and older adults throughout the four-county area.

MISSION
The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Central Wisconsin promotes choice and independence through personalized education, advocacy, and access to services that prevent, delay, and lessen the impacts of aging and disabilities in the lives of adults.
