The purpose of Redistricting is to ensure equal representation in government. 1 person, 1 vote.
Redistricting occurs after each decennial Census. The process involves re-drawing the boundaries for government offices. Each district must have substantially equal population.
Marathon County's proposed Supervisory District plan meets the substantially equal population requirement and was designed to respect municipal boundaries where possible.
