This is the second smallest block within the county forest system, at 279 acres. This forest unit sits between the towns of Hatley and Bevent, just east of Pike Lake. This unit is rolling hills, dominated by oak and hardwoods, with some pine plantations and aspen areas. There are good trails for hiking as well as the snowmobile trail cuts across the unit. There is a parking area on Tower Road, on the north end of this unit.
Directions: From Wausau take US 51 south to east on STH 29 15 miles to south on CTH Y (Hatley) 4 miles to east on Lake Drive (Pike Lake) 3/4 mile to east on Pike Lake Road 1.5 miles to south on Tower Road to the parking lot.
