The Marathon Park Train started its 60th year of operation Friday, May 25th, 2012 with a new/old look. Thanks to a generous donation by Mitzi Dolloff in honor of her late husband Cliff Dolloff, the train was painted to replicate the Milwaukee Road’s North Woods Hiawatha passenger train that served Wausau in 1952 when the park train began its service. Cliff Dolloff was a Milwaukee Road conductor for 40 years and worked on both the North Woods Hiawatha and freight trains out of Wausau.
