County and Health Care Center Employees founded Marathon County Employees Credit Union in 1965 as a safe place to borrow and save. We are a full service financial institution.
Eligibility for the credit union is: current employees, past employees and retirees of Marathon County, North Central Health Care Facilities, Marathon County Special Education. Current employees, past employees and retirees working in Marathon County government buildings. A public depositor and any member of the immediate family of any other eligible person may become a member of the credit union. Any organization or association may become a member if a majority of the shareholders, partners, members or owners thereof are eligible for membership in the credit union.
Why become a member? Because a credit union is a member/owned cooperative organized to:
Encourage thrift among its members
To create a source of credit at a fair and reasonable cost;
To provide an opportunity for each of its members to improve the member's respective economic and social conditions.
