PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING NOTICE
County of Marathon Comprehensive Plan Revision Public Information Meeting
In 2013, the Marathon County Board of Supervisors began the task of revising the Marathon County Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan represents a primary planning document for Marathon County. Under the guidance of the Comprehensive Plan Task Force, the Conservation, Planning & Zoning Department and North Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission will be conducting six public information meetings on the following dates and locations:
April 15, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall of Reid;
April 21, 2015, at 7 p.m. at 212 River Drive in rooms 1 and 2, City of Wausau;
April 22, 2015, at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall of Day;
May 11, 2015, at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall of Johnson;
May 13, 2015, at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall of Knowlton; and
May 19, 2015, at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall of Plover
Come, learn, and be informed about the revision process and what the Comprehensive Plan Revision means to you and your community. As Marathon County seeks to be a preferred place to live, work, visit and do business, come learn how this new plan is different from the 2006 Marathon County Comprehensive Plan and how it affects all the service programs provided by the county.
