County Road X, also known as Camp Phillips Road, will be under construction the week of July 9th. Crews plan to place an asphalt overlay on the existing roadway. Work is planned to begin Monday July 9th and be completed by Friday July 13th.
During the project, northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane and southbound traffic will be detoured west on Ross Avenue, south on Alderson Street and east on Schofield Avenue.
Sternberg Avenue will not have access to County Road X; residents will need to use other side streets to access Sternberg Avenue. Residents using Bayington Ave and Knaack Ave will only be able to drive northbound when coming home or leaving their homes.
Crews will work to minimize delays when working within the intersection of County Road X and Ross Avenue. The work within this intersection will only be occassional during the project, but drivers should expect relatively long delays if they encounter the construction crew as they work through this intersection.

To improve the safety for motorists and workers and to improve the efficiency of the construction, we ask that drivers use alternate routes when possible. Thank you for your patience.
