Subject: Nine Mile Mountain Bike
Date: March 31, 2010

Ken Krueger, Operations Superintendent – Customer Service, has announced that due to the unseasonably warm weather, the Mountain Bike Trails at the Nine Mile County Forest Recreational Area and the ATV trails at the Burma Forest Unit may open earlier than the May 1 posted date. There still are some soft areas that need to dry a little more.
The trails will be re-evaluated on Wednesday, April 7, for a possible opening on Saturday, April 10. Another press release will be sent out on Wednesday, April 7.

The 2010 Annual stickers have arrived and may be purchased for $25 each (12 yrs and older) at the Park Office. A $4 daily pass or an annual sticker may be purchased at the self-registration station located in the parking lot of the Nine Mile Chalet on Red Bud Road.  Children under 12 are FREE.
