BIG BULL FALLS

204 W. Scott Street, Wausau. Location: Near the Washington Street bridge in downtown Wausau. Open shelter, viewing area of Wisconsin River.

BOILEAU FIELD

2404 N. 5th Street, Wausau. Location: Behind Athletic Park, 1 baseball diamond, porta-toilet, drinking fountain.

CITY HALL PARK

407 Grant Street, Wausau. Benches, display fountain.

D.C. EVEREST PARK

1800 S. 3rd Avenue, Wausau. Directions: In Wausau take Third Avenue south of Thomas Street 1/2 mile to park. Bleachers, non-reservable open shelter with 4 picnic tables, 2 boat launches with docks, handicap accessible fishing pier, drinking fountain, few picnic tables throughout park, paved path, vault toilet, Central Wisconsin Water Ski Show Team Inc. water ski shows.

GILBERT PARK

3000 N. 6th Street, Wausau. Location: 6th Street north along Wisconsin River. Benches, boat landing, picnic tables, grills, handicap accessible fishing pier.

HAMMOND PARK

600 Grand Avenue, Wausau. Location: At intersection of Grand Avenue and Thomas Street. Swings, playground equipment, horseshoe pits, bandstand, picnic tables, drinking, fountain, paved path, benches.

RIETBROCK GEOGRAPHICAL MARKER (center of western hemisphere)

5651 Meridian Road, Athens. Directions: West of Wausau on STH 29 to CTH H, north on CTH H to CTH U, west on CTH U to Poniatowski, 1/4 mile west of Poniatowski. The geographical marker sits on a rectangular piece of land with dimensions of 50 feet wide by 125 feet long.

STEWART PARK

508 10th Street, Wausau. Location: Situated on a hill at intersection of 10th Street and Scott Street, performance park with stage, drinking fountain, paved paths, electricity, picnic tables, lights.

SYLVAN HILL PARK

1329 Sylvan Street, Wausau. Location: 6th Street north to Horseshoe Spring Road. East on Horseshoe Spring Road to Sylvan Street. Martin Hanneman, Park Attendant, 842-3193(Voice Mail). Fireplace (check on availability of firewood), new handicapped ramp, dumpster, windows with screens, open spacious area, restrooms downstairs with flush toilets, 14 folding tables (30 x 96) and 115 chairs. Kitchen (not available during tubing season), refrigerator/freezer, sink with hot & cold water, brooms, 4-burner stove top, kitchen island. Outside: 2 open shelters, picnic tables, cross-country ski trail at American Legion/Sylvan Hill, no electric outlets, play equipment, municipal tubing hill.

WHITE WATER PARK

200 River Drive, Wausau. Location: Downtown Wausau along the Wisconsin River just west of the Park Office; Paved path, benches, bleachers.
