Topic: Transportation & Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO)
Subject: Statewide Planning Assistance
MPO staff coordinates activities between the MPO and WisDOT regarding the development of the State Highway Plan and coordinates the Wausau Area Long Range Transportation Plan with the adopted statewide strategy. Staff also coordinates efforts related to the federal Surface Transportation Program (STP), National Highway System (NHS), Interstate Maintenance System (IM), and Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation (BR).
