Vaccines are one of the most effective tools available for the prevention of serious infectious diseases for children. Almost one million children in this country live without the benefits of full immunization. For these children, the risk of serious illness, and even death, from vaccine-preventable diseases is great; too great.
By working together as a community, we can prevent vaccine-preventable diseases in our children. Your health care provider, as well as the Marathon County Health Department, are working together with you to get your children immunized appropriately.
